Nelson is awesome so many trendy shops, amazing beach walk, and the center of New Zealand Walk, with seriously stunning views of the South Island.
I pretty much got to relax and enjoy the slow pace of it all. My hostel was really nice and quaint (Accents on the Park) I would stay at this place again in a second. Found an awesome second hand bookstore and spent about 2/3 hours there and chatting with the owner (awesome lady and I’m horrible for not writing down the stores name).
I had amazing Mexican food, and a really great craft beer from Nelsons famous Craft Beer Heaven known as The Church (over 450 different craft beers and the bartenders are very generous with giving out samples to find the right beer for you).
Nelson is awesome and somewhat looked over since its normally just a one night place for those headed to do a great walk at the famous Abel Tasman National Park.
